Open Question: Boss BV7950 In Dash DVD Player? This and new speakers?

I had new speakers in my car, and they blew, I think its because my headunit is stock (2000 toyota celica) and it sucks. But besides that, I'm thinking in getting this new headunit first. "Boss BV7950 " Is it good? If I were to get it, how would I go about purchasing nice speakers for my car? After I get speakers I'd like to get two subs, but thats one step at a time. Thanks! Thanks!
